How It Works

OpenClaw runs locally on your Home Assistant server. It processes your voice commands directly on your machine — no cloud, no subscription, no data sent anywhere.

Setup

OpenClaw connects to Home Assistant via its local API. It can use Rhasspy or Vosk for local wake word detection, or be triggered via a physical button. Once configured, you can create complex voice routines that chain multiple actions.
